Oral Oncoloytic Therapy: How to Optimize Your Patients' Care

Overview
Many challenges remain when it comes to optimizing the use of oral oncolytic therapies. In this webcast, participants will uncover the nuances of oral oncolytic therapy by understanding the challenges that come with oral oncolytic therapies - from side effects to patient adherence. Participants will be able to identify strategies for managing adverse effects, enhancing therapy compliance and essential resources for providing comprehensive care to patients that are on oral oncolytics.
Target Audience
This CME initiative was designed for oncologists, surgeons, radiation oncologists, NPs, PAs, pharmacists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals involved in the treatment of patients with cancer.

Faculty
Julianne Darling, PharmD, BCOP
Julianne is originally from Rock Hill, South Carolina and obtained her Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of South Carolina. She completed her PGY1 pharmacy residency at the Greenville Health System and PGY2 oncology pharmacy residency at the University of Georgia College of Pharmacy in Augusta, Georgia. She is board certified by the Board of Pharmacy Specialties in Oncology Pharmacy.
Julianne previously worked as an outpatient oncology clinical pharmacist at Indiana University Simon Cancer Center in Indianapolis, Indiana. Her primary focus was the management of patients receiving oral chemotherapy and bridging the gap between the outpatient clinic and the specialty pharmacy. Currently, she serves as the Senior Manager of Education for NCODA where she leads the patient education initiatives and helps develop quality educational resources for NCODA University. In her free time, she enjoys SEC football games, spending time with friends and family, and snuggling her dog, Otis.
