
Lymphoma in 2022
SELF STUDY / ENDURING - ESTIMATED TIME TO COMPLETE ACTIVITY: 90 Minutes
The importance for clinicians to accurately work-up, assess, and classify lymphoma is fundamental for the optimization of patients’ oncology treatment journey. This webcast will walk participants through treatment regimens for various types of lymphoma, including standard chemotherapy regimens as well as novel therapies such as CAR T-cell therapies and not yet FDA-approved combinations.
Target Audience
This CME initiative was designed for oncologists, surgeons, radiation oncologists, NPs, PAs, pharmacists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals involved in the treatment of patients with cancer.
Learning Objectives
1. List the general classification of lymphoma
2. Describe the treatment of advanced stage classical Hodgkin lymphoma with A+AVD chemotherapy regimen
3. Discuss Pola-R-CHP regimen as an upcoming novel treatment option in diffuse large B cell lymphoma (not yet FDA approved combination)
4. Recognize chimeric antigen receptor Tcell therapy (CAR-T) and its use in non-Hodgkin lymphoma
Faculty
Craig Boddy, MD
Dr. Craig Boddy is an adult Hematologist/Oncologist at Hawaii Pacific Health (Straub and Pali Momi) since 2018. His clinical practice focuses on managing Hematology patients, especially aggressive lymphomas and acute leukemias. He is also involved with the University of Hawaii Cancer Center and serves as a Clinical Member and Principal Investigator on multiple malignant hematology clinical trials. Prior to joining Hawaii Pacific Health, he received his Hematology/Oncology fellowship training at Northwestern University in Chicago, where his clinical research focused on lymphoma.
