Emotional Intelligence for APP Leaders
- This dinner program will be a virtual (online) event. -
Overview
Emotional intelligence is increasingly recognized as a key competency in advanced clinical practice, where providers must navigate emotionally charged situations and lead multidisciplinary teams. This program explores the pivotal role of emotional intelligence in enhancing clinical effectiveness, fostering strong interpersonal relationships, and supporting sound decision-making in complex healthcare environments. Expert faculty will define the core components of emotional intelligence and address strategies for identifying and managing emotional triggers, especially during high-stress or conflict situations, equipping clinicians with techniques to maintain professionalism and emotional balance.
