Course Overview
The APP Oncology Summit is a two-day conference designed to provide advanced practice providers (APPs) with the latest evidence-based strategies to optimize care and outcomes for patients with cancer. This conference is planned with and for advanced practice providers (NPs, PAs, pharmacists, and nurse specialists) and is a collaborative effort of oncology clinicians from multiple organizations in each community.

The APP Oncology Summit offers a unique opportunity for APPs from various healthcare teams in the community to collaborate, learn from each other and national faculty, and share best practices on a range of issues related to the care of cancer patients.

This conference includes an optional workshop titled “The Bone Marrow Aspiration and Biopsy: A Hands-on Skills Workshop” This special session will take place Friday morning from 6:45 am – 8:00 am and can accommodate up to 12 learners. The session will be taught by two APP faculty experts with experience in performing bone marrow biopsy procedures using a manual and powered approach. The faculty will begin the workshop by presenting a short slide presentation that provides an overview of the bone marrow biopsy procedure (12-15 minutes). Following this, the expert faculty will demonstrate the manual and powered techniques while learners observe. The remaining time will be allocated for learner hands-on skills practice. Please note, there is a separate fee for this workshop. CLICK HERE TO REGISTER
