**Defined as anyone employed by a drug, device, or diagnostic company. The primary goal of the conference is to educate practicing clinicians on the latest advances and strategies in the care of cancer patients. Because space is limited and to ensure sufficient seats are available for clinicians, Industry Employees may register as an attendee only if you have a clinical title (NP, PharmD, MD, PA, etc).
Horizon CME will NOT provide international travelers with an invitation letter to attend this in-person activity. If you reside outside the United States or Canada and register and pay for this event, AND you are unable to obtain a visa to attend, no refund will be issued.
Course Overview
The APP Oncology Summit is a two-day conference designed to provide advanced practice providers (APPs) with the latest evidence-based strategies to optimize care and outcomes for patients with cancer. This conference is planned with and for advanced practice providers (NPs, PAs, pharmacists, and nurse specialists) and is a collaborative effort of oncology clinicians from multiple organizations in each community.
The APP Oncology Summit offers a unique opportunity for APPs from various healthcare teams in the community to collaborate, learn from each other and national faculty, and share best practices on a range of issues related to the care of cancer patients.
Intended Learners
APP Oncology Summits are developed with and for advanced practice providers including NPs, PAs, pharmacists, and nurses.
As part of the multidisciplinary team in the care of cancer patients, students, physicians, and other healthcare professionals involved in the management of cancer patients are also welcome to attend.

Angelica Epps received a BS in Psychology from Spelman College in Atlanta, GA in 2009. She then went on to obtain her BSN degree from NYU Rory Myers College of Nursing in New York, NY 2012. She began her nursing career in Greenville, NC at Vidant Medical Center on a Medical Oncology unit for two and a half years. She then transitioned back to Atlanta, GA in 2015 and continued her nursing career on the Blood and Marrow Transplant (BMT) unit for an additional four and a half years. During this time, she earned a MSN-FNP degree from Maryville University in St. Louis MO; receiving her certification with American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). Since 2020, Angelica worked as a nurse practitioner on the BMT unit at Northside Hospital until December 2022. She transitioned to an outpatient NP role in January 2023 with Atlanta Cancer Care; an affiliate of the Northside Hospital Cancer Institute. She is BMTCN certified, and a member of UAPRN and AANP. Her areas of interest include: hematology/oncology, sickle cell anemia, benign hematology, stem cell transplant, CAR-T cell therapy, and immunotherapy.

Kennon McCollum is a community based oncology nurse practitioner oncology nurse practitioner. Kennon holds degrees from the University of Georgia, Georgia State University, and obtained his Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree from The University of Alabama School of Nursing in 2013. Dr. McCollum has also served as adjunct clinical faculty for Emory University, Georgia State University, University of Southern Alabama, DeKalb Community College Schools of Nursing, and the University of Alabama DNP program. Additionally, Dr. McCollum has published cancer related articles in oncology peer reviewed nursing journals, and has authored chapters in a chemotherapy textbook. Kennon is also a nationally recognized chemotherapy nurse educator and serves on several industry sponsored chemotherapy speakers bureaus and advisory panels. In 2016 Kennon was inducted into the International Nurses Association and was recognized as one the top Nurse Practitioners in the State of Georgia. Kennon provides care to all cancer and hematology patients, and has special interests in the hematologic cancers, cancer survivorship; and currently serves as the survivorship coordinator for Georgia Cancer Specialists.

Danielle Roberts a physician assistant with the Bone Marrow Transplant team at the Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University. She currently serves as the Associate Chief of Education for the Winship Cancer Institute and the Co-Director of the Winship APP Fellowship. Danielle earned her Master’s in Medical Science from Emory University School of Medicine. She chose to pursue her career in oncology after losing her best friend to Breast Cancer at a young age.
