Faculty
Sven R. Olson, MD
Sven Olson is an Assistant Professor of Medicine and Classical Hematologist at Oregon Health & Science University in Portland, OR. Sven is the Program Director of the section of Classical Hematology within the Division of Hematology & Oncology. Sven also serves as Program Director for OHSU’s Hemostasis & Thrombosis Fellowship and co-director of the OHSU School of Medicine’s Blood & Host Defense block. Sven’s clinical time at OHSU is split between bleeding disorders and general hematology clinics. Sven has focused his career on medical education; his favorite thing is to be in the classroom! Sven’s wife, Dominique, is a nurse anesthetist. They have a baby boy, Ansel, and a miniature goldendoodle, Pintxo. Both are very good boys.
