Overview
The development of subcutaneous immunotherapies is reshaping how immune checkpoint inhibitors are delivered, with important implications beyond the traditional infusion center. This educational session examines currently approved and emerging subcutaneous formulations, highlighting pharmacokinetic considerations, safety profiles, and practical differences compared with intravenous administration.
Target Audience
This CME initiative was designed for oncologists, surgeons, radiation oncologists, NPs, PAs, pharmacists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals involved in the treatment of patients with cancer.

Dr. Tumlinson is a board-certified oncology pharmacist practicing in the Genitourinary Oncology Clinic at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. She received her undergraduate and Doctor of Pharmacy degrees from Auburn University. She then completed a PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Residency at the University of Tennessee Medical Center followed by a PGY2 Oncology Pharmacy Residency at Duke University Hospital before joining the Vanderbilt team in 2024.
