Overview
This educational presentation, designed for Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) in oncology, provides a foundational guide to understanding and applying pathology reports in clinical practice. Participants will gain insights into interpreting pathology findings and integrating them into patient care decisions, bridging the gap between histologic detail and real-world oncology strategy.

Jessica Guadagno is a Physician Assistant and Program Lead of the Oncology Diagnostic Clinic at Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University. She has held multiple leadership and educational roles at Winship, including Medical Oncology APP Lead, Education Committee member, Didactic Coordinator for the APP Fellowship Program, and preceptor for PA/NP students and fellows.
Before becoming a PA, Jessica earned a BS in Exercise Science from Brevard College and an MS in Athletic Training from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. She is dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and is passionate about education—both in group settings and through individual mentorship.
A lifelong learner, Jessica continually seeks to expand her knowledge and refine her diagnostic skills. She approaches each case with curiosity and determination, embracing her role as a cancer detective to uncover clinical mysteries and improve patient outcomes.
