APP Journal Club - July 2026

July 29, 2026

- The  APPJournal Club is a quarterly virtual (online) event.

Overview

This journal club will examine selected clinical studies in oncology with a focus on their design, rigor, and relevance to contemporary oncology practice. Participants will review the methodology of each study to assess validity and potential sources of bias. Attention will also be given to key safety outcomes, including the reporting and interpretation of adverse events and their clinical significance. Through this analysis, participants will strengthen their ability to appraise oncology literature and apply evidence-based findings to clinical decision-making.

Upon completion of this journal club, you will:

  1.  Discuss the methodology, validity, and key safety outcomes of each clinical study
  2.  Evaluate the studies' results in the context of current standards of care in oncology
